HeleniQ Argyrou

Helen Argyrou is a trained clinical psychologist, group facilitator, artist, djembe drummer and trainer. After her experience in private practice as a psychotherapist, she began devising enjoyable ways for all individuals to actualize their fullest potential. Driven by her inspiring personality, her creative insights, Heleniq combined creative techniques and art therapies with Jungian, shamanic and process work psychology. Through Druminspire, she has devised excellent processes that inspires individuals and groups to learn from their personal experience. Through these inspired experiential learning processes, partcipants develop self-expression to realize their dreams .

Throughout the years, Heleniq has presented her ideas at conferences and applied them to various groups. She has spent the last eight years exploring the power of the djembe drum. She has drummed with professional African drum masters reinventing & deepening collaboration and cross-cultural exchange. She has drummed in hospitals with children to process trauma; with foreign visitors in sharing African drum magic; with business professionals to inspire innovative business procedure; with N.G.O's to strengthen teamspirit & assist their community development projects; with colleagues for emotional release; with adolescents to transform destructive life choices and extend personal growth; with children to help them learn cognitive and social skills in The Wise-Wild Child Project; with policemen to release stress and develop coping skills; with women journeying to the wild side in discovery of intuition and personal power; with toddlers to develop rhythmicity; monthly in her "drumagiQ" drumcircle to facilitate inspiration; and with friends in celebration of life, passion and expression.

The use of African drums, percussion and art to assist individuals to learn about and develop themselves, is an innovative technique. This technique is a profound amalgamation of psychological theory and sound as a healing tool. Druminspire utilises this technique to offer training and therapeutic proccesses that shift paradigms and heal hearts seriously, respectfully and enjoyably.
